Albir beach will not be open to the public until June 10, Alfaz del Pi councillors Mayte Garcia and Luis Morant gave announced this morning (Friday) on Albir promenade. The council will use the interim period to ensure all is in place to comply with new safety measures. New beach security patrols will be in place to ensure social distacing measures are followed along with a loudspeaker system to remind beach-goers of the new rules. Four areas will be clearly marked including two for the privately-run sunbed and parasol service and other leisure activities, and two for regular sunbathers.
