Public ‘rubbish’ role demanded

Associations of residents, ecologists and unions have jointly presented objections to proposed rules for how the public participation committee of the Vega Baja waste management consortium will be run.

United under the banner of Residuo Cero (zero waste) Vega Baja, they have called for the amount of waste generated and sent to landfill to be progressively reduced.
