Vega Baja farmers have asked the prosecution service to open an investigation into the directors of the Segura river and water authority (CHS) over the catastrophic floods which hit area last month.
A spokesman for the farmers noted that they wanted the prosecutor ‘to bring those responsible to account’.
They noted that this action could have implications in civil and criminal law.
