A ‘special team of marine vigilance environmental officers’ is being set up by the Valencia government.

Regional councillor for the environment, infrastructure and land, Salomé Pradas said they will ‘check on diving in protected underwater areas’, manage the access of boats to coastal caves, and support scientific investigation into marine species, amongst other activities.
