A seven-year-old boy was killed when a brick pillar fell on top of him on Tuesday evening.
According to state news agency EFE, the youngster was taken to Elda hospital by his family but doctors were not able to save his life.
They noted that he had suffered a severe injury to his skull in the accident which occurred at a rural property in the municipality.
