The first MRI scan room in the province that is adapted for patients with claustrophobia has been opened at Alicante general hospital.
The magnetic resonance imaging area has been remodelled and extended, and a specially adapted scanner has been installed, in addition to renovating the two that were already there, at a total cost of €1.8 million.
