National rail company Renfe has announced direct high-speed trains (AVE) from Málaga to Alicante and Murcia.
The daily service from Málaga to Alicante takes five-and-a-half hours and goes via Madrid.
The train operator noted that the route starts from June 1 and tickets went on sale this week.
