‘Smoke-free beaches’ flags were raised on each of Villajoyosa’s 13 beaches on Wednesday.
“It is an initiative that aims to encourage respect for one’s own and other people’s health, as well as for the environment, so that all beach users can enjoy a healthy and sustainable environment,” noted a town hall spokesperson.
