MANISES – the luckiest town in the region – and the quaint inland village of Simat de la Valldigna netted jackpot prizes in this year’s El Niño lottery after local shops sold coupons bearing the winning number 57342.
The L’Horta Oest town has as yet never failed to sell a winning El Gordo Christmas lottery number this century, including three jackpot combinations – and it kept its reputation intact again for the famous January 6 draw.
