SUDDEN torrential downpours just before 22.00 on Wednesday meant a pop concert on Gandia beach had to be called off barely 20 minutes after it started.
The joint affair with national chart-toppers India Martínez and Vanesa Martín was a wash-out – at a time of year when hot, dry weather is normally guaranteed.
It is not known whether the concert will be rescheduled or fans will get refunds on their tickets.
