The 777th loggerhead turtle to be treated in the Oceanogràfic centre in Valencia since 2007 has been released back into the sea.
Sea turtles, which are a protected species, have been injured in variety of ways – mostly due to human activity.
They have ingested plastic, become entangled in fishing nets, or been hit by boat propellers, amongst others.
