Figures reported by the regional health department on Wednesday show that the number of active cases of Covid-19 has shot up in the last eight days.
On Tuesday last week (January 5) a total of 18,537 cases was registered in the Valencia region, which had risen to 30,351 in the report made on Wednesday (January 13).
