An employee of a mobile phone shop in Orihuela is amongst numerous people arrested in Alicante and Murcia on suspicion of cloning SIM cards to obtain over €126,000 from their victims’ bank accounts.
The Guardia Civil’s specialist IT unit in Alicante started investigating in March.
