The Valencia government will employ 1,200 healthcare professionals for local health departments around the region.
According to councillor for health Ana Barceló, they will ‘reinforce health centres in the transition phase to the new normality’.
She added that reducing waiting lists which have been swelled by the Covid-19 pandemic is a priority.
