Dear Editor.
I have observed that medical services in the Torrevieja area have been getting a bad press of late. To help address the balance a little, I recount my own recent experience. I was diagnosed as having a faulty aortic valve and from original diagnosis in Torrevieja hospital to surgery in Alicante hospital, the care, skill and professionalism of all staff at all levels has been exemplary.
