Costly cove parking scheme on the cards

Visitors to Jávea’s picturesque Granadella and Portitxol bays are likely to have to shell out a whopping €9 for all-day parking this summer, unless they travel by bike or motorcycle.

This is part of the council’s plan to stop long lines of vehicles obstructing the lanes leading to these secluded beaches and to reduce the environmental impact.
