With the authorisation of the national coast department (Costas) and the approval of Calpe council, work began this week on the regeneration of Puerto Blanco beach, using sand from the dredging of the mouth of Puerto Blanco marina.
In order to carry out the project, breakwaters have been installed to prevent the sand from dispersing, according to the town hall.
