A convicted killer who was handed a 45-year prison sentence in Bolivia for murdering his girlfriend and a drug lord has been arrested in connection with a violent jewellery heist in Almería.
Pompeyo Miranda, 51, was arrested along with two other men at a flat in Almería city by a Spanish swat team earlier this month. Miranda is believed to have been one of three men who carried out the raid at a jeweller’s in the El Zapillo district last December.
