Late Mojacar resident Tito del Amo will receive the town’s Indalo de Oro award in 2018 after the council voted unanimously in favour of socialist-led proposal at a plenary meeting last week.
The socialist PSOE party lodged the motion for the much-loved bar owner, who died in June, to be posthumously honoured for his contribution to Mojacar society and the town’s profile.
