A cyclist was badly injured when he was hit by a car on the A-7 at the Sabinillas tunnel in Manilva last Wednesday morning. The driver fled the scene, and the car was found burned out in the car-park of a nearby commercial centre. Guardia Civil officers tracked down the owner, a 33-year-old man, who was arrested in Algeciras despite first claiming his car had been stolen.
