A hoard of gold coins from the Roman era has been recovered by the National Police.
A force spokesman said the 90 aurei had ‘great historic and economic value’ – and represented an ‘extraordinary’ find.
Some of the coins were on sale at ‘well-known’ Madrid auction house.
