Bid to ‘grow’ Castellón airport

The regional government is bidding to almost double the number of passengers using Castellón airport over the next two years.

This will be done by improving ‘connectivity’ – both national and international flights – with ‘new routes that will start to operate in the coming months’, said Valencia president Carlos Mazón.

The announcement came as the national government aired plans to cut short-haul flights in Spain.
