Tourism figures have been buoyant this summer and indicate that by the end of this year the region will have welcomed a similar number of visitors to 2019.
Hotel occupancy along the Valencia region’s coast averaged 90% in August and it is hoped that the total number of tourists in 2022 will exceed 25 million, said regional tourism secretary Francesc Colomer.
