Rain shortage threatens crops

The important citrus fruit harvests in the coming months could be hit by the current rainfall shortage, according to the president of the Alicante branch of farmers’ union Asaja.

José Vicente Andreu stated that the ‘drought’ will lead to very poor growth unless there is plentiful precipitation in February and March.
