PM Pedro Sánchez gave an update on the exit plan this afternoon which will be carried out in Spain over the coming weeks.
Amongst other measures, he noted that users of public transport will have to wear face masks from Monday.
To this end, free masks will be handed out at metro stations and other points, he said.
With the re-opening of some small businesses/shops with appointment only from Monday – such as garages – only one client will be allowed into the shop or premises for each worker on duty.
More details will published tomorrow (Sunday) in ministerial documents.
Sr Sánchez said he will ask Parliament to extend the state of emergency on Wednesday so they can continue with their exit plan, which limits movement and citizens’ rights. He added that there is ‘no ‘Plan B’ to stop this virus’.
