Gandia’s waiting list woes

GANDIA hospital’s outpatient consultancies are ‘overwhelmed’ due to ‘poor planning’, complains the general workers’ union (UGT).
The syndicate has finally cottoned onto the fact that since the much-needed new hospital building opened last April, waiting lists have been creeping up to unacceptable levels with an average of six to nine months for tests and three months for appointments.
