Fire watch teams get new equipment

A total of 32 new vehicles are being delivered to the regional forest fire prevention service to watch out for blazes in the countryside and mountainous areas.

With rising temperatures and drought now meaning that forest fires can break out at any time of the year, early warning and action is becoming even more important to ensure that fires do not spiral out of control.
