‘Date-rape’ drug plant growing in Bellreguard

A MIND-BENDING drug which causes the consumer to lose total control over his or her free will has been found growing in a plot in Bellreguard, causing widespread panic among residents.
The strip of wasteland is council-owned and is often crossed on foot by residents.
Plants known as escopolamina, which produce the drug burundanga, identifiable by their white hooded flowers and dark-green leaves, have been found on the plot and police are now searching for the person who sowed the seeds.
