A FORMER mayor is facing up to six years in jail after €293,000 ‘disappeared’ from public funds in his town in payments to a front company which had no known business activity.
José Manuel Haro, who was also provincial MP for the right-wing PP party, may also face a daily fine for 24 months and be banned from holding public office for 10 years after he comes out of jail.
