A total of 16 new cases of coronavirus were recorded in the Valencia region on Wednesday but the regional government said the flare-ups were under control.
Councillor for health Ana Barceló noted that seven of the new cases were linked to an outbreak in Castellón city.
Three people tested positive for Covid-19 in Alicante province.
