Three men who brutally assaulted two individuals outside a popular Mojacar nightclub six years ago have been handed jail sentences.
The three – Giorgi Kvirkvelia, Diego and Antonio Torres Santiago – attacked the two men following an argument outside the Buddha nightclub in the early hours of the morning on January 27, 2011.
One of the victims lay in a pool of blood after he was kicked and punched repeatedly by the three defendants and five other people. He suffered concussion and a severe neck injury, as well as cuts to the face, right hand and a broken tooth for which he needed surgery.
