Teachers’ union CSIF has filed a complaint on behalf of the more than 13,000 teachers across Almería province who are obliged to undergo a new fitness-to-teach check.

All teachers, paediatricians, school monitors and other professionals who deal with under-age children are now required to obtain a police certificate to confirm they have not been convicted of any sexual offence in recent years.
