A Guardia Civil agent is being investigated after he allegedly bit off part of a man’s ear during a brawl while off-duty in Mojacar.
The incident happened at about 6.30pm on Sunday (September 25) on a small roundabout outside the Hotel Simon, opposite the multi-use centre.
The victim, a 38-year-old Mojacar resident, lost part of his right ear and was taken to the local health centre. Six other people were involved in the altercation and an indeterminate number required medical attention for cuts and bruises, according to Guardia sources.
