An annual padel tennis contest in Albox has attracted more publicity than the organisers bargained for after its unusual poster design made it the butt of tweets and media coverage.
The sporting event is held annually by the Brotherhood of Our Lord Jesus Christ in Albox during Easter week and is advertised with posters around the town.
This year’s flier features Christ crucified on a cross formed of two racket grips, with Real Madrid football player Cristiano Ronaldo, dressed as a gladiator sporting Real Madrid shorts, walking away from the cross with a padel racket in his hand.
