A 38-year-old British man was killed on Saturday night (August 6) after he fell off his motorbike on the Mojacar-Garrucha bypass in what has been a grim week on Almería’s roads.
The accident happened at about 11.15pm. Police say Gary Myatt lost control of his Honda bike on a tight bend leading onto the bridge of the A-1203 road and struck the guard rail. He was subsequently hit by a taxi which was travelling in the same direction. According to the emergency services, he was declared dead at the scene.
