Almería’s port will not be connected to any new train line or infrastructure hub after the regional government published a billion-euro investment plan that fails to mention the province.
Senator Juan Carlos Pérez (PSOE) said the national government was “having a laugh” by ignoring the province’s main port. He promised to table a question in the senate on the matter, addressed to the director general of port infrastructure.
