THE Andalucía health service (SAS) has restarted the administering of whooping cough booster jabs for six-year-olds, after the boosters were curtailed in 2015 due to shortages of the vaccine.

Parents with children who turned six in 2015, 2016 or 2017 and have not had their whooping cough booster can find out more about scheduling the jab by calling SAS’s Salud Responde line on 902 505 060 or 955 545 060.

The health service has also restarted tetanus-diphtheria (Td) booster jabs for 14-year-olds, which were temporarily curtailed in February due to a shortage of the vaccine.
