WITH Easter fast approaching, Benidorm is up against the clock to finish works on the Avenida Mediterráneo before the influx of Easter holidaymakers.
Remodelling works started over a year ago, causing traffic mayhem in the centre, with roads closed and traffic diversions in place. Last Friday, the pavement nearest to the beach side was opened, although not fully completed.
