Nine years after workers downed tools and the project to install a promenade on Torrevieja’s Dique de Poniente pier was abandoned, the town hall has approved the procedure to put the plans out to tender again.
The project for pedestrian access to the breakwater was included in works approved for Torrevieja by the government in order to compensate for the construction of the town’s vast desalination plant.
