A special training exercise was carried out at Alicante-Elche airport on Wednesday in which a plane crash was simulated.
The drill saw all the emergency services in the area tested, with ‘special cooperation from the airline Jet2’.
State airport authority Aena noted that they ‘coordinated the work’ of all the external agencies involved in the emergency situation.
