A call for more Guardia Civil to be assigned to Orihuela Costa and the municipality’s rural districts has been made by mayor Pepe Vegara.
He made the request to the representative of the national government in Alicante province, Juan Antonio Nieves, at a meeting of the local security committee on Tuesday.
