Passenger location cards are part of new rules

International flyers arriving in Spain will have to fill in a form, which will be provided by their airline before they take off.

Passengers will be asked to give contact information and other details so the healthcare authorities can get in touch with them during their stay in Spain, if necessary.

The spokeswoman stated that the form – known as a passenger location card (PLC) – will have to be handed to airport staff when they arrive in the country.
