Excavations are to be undertaken in six municipalities around the province, including Rojales, Calpe and Orihuela, this summer by the Alicante museum of archaeology (MARQ).
These will be funded with €130,000 from the provincial government’s excavation and research plan, and coordinated by museum director Manuel Olcina.
