A SPANISH consumer group has launched a new website which aims to help airline passengers to defend their rights against abuses by carriers.

FACUA – Consumers in Action has listed more than 50 questions typically asked by travellers, along with answers which give advice on how to cope with problems, from buying a ticket to arriving safely at a destination with luggage intact.

The initiative is part of a campaign named “aerofraudes” which FACUA says will highlight, “the high percentage of violations of legislation in the aviation sector.”
