Spain bids to become ‘a good country for science’

The new law on science, technology and innovation has been definitively approved by parliament, including improvements to employment rights and public funding for the sector.

Science minister Diana Morant said it was a ‘historic act’ to grant ‘more rights and guarantees’ to the scientific community, and a ‘step forward to become a good country for science’.
