Torrevieja hospital has recently acquired an ophthalmological microscope with the latest optical coherence tomography (OCT) and 3D visualisation technology.
A spokesman said this promises not only to revolutionise the way in which operations are carried out, but also to open new ways for training and teaching specialists.
