BREAST Cancer Awareness Day was officially held on Wednesday (October 19) throughout the Costa Blanca.
The pink ribbon was displayed by those taking part and giant ribbons were placed outside town halls and other official buildings.
In Altea, Marina Baixa breast cancer support group Anemona laid a huge pink ribbon in the town hall square and in Dénia the sports centre swimming pool turned pink for breast cancer awareness.
