The head of the Catalán regional police (Mossos D’Esquadra) Josep Lluís Trapero has send out internal orders for the officers to ‘remove ballot boxes’ for the illegal referendum on October 1 ‘following the Constitutional Court sentences’.
The internal order is another blow for the pro-independency parties who have vowed to hold the rerendum regardless of what the courts say. Until now, the Mossos had not stated their position.
