An attack on two local police officers in Guardamar del Segura has been described by the mayor as ‘cowardly and senseless’.
Three people have been arrested for allegedly hitting and shoving a male and a female officer when they went to issue a fine for a badly parked van next to the seafront promenade, mayor José Luis Sáez told state news agency EFE.
