Lords of the sky take flight

A pair of griffon vultures which had been rescued and treated at El Valle wildlife recuperation centre in Murcia were released back into the wild on Tuesday.

The region has now released 31 griffon vultures that have recovered over the last five years – and its population in Murcia has increased significantly in recent years.
